Part 3: Why do women make less money than men?

Think carefully about the next two questions:

1. Current statistics show that on average, women earn 75% of the male average. What have you learned from the above investigations that may help explain this phenomenon?



2. Current statistics also show that women who take at least 8 university credits in mathematics earn, on average, 90% of the male average. Does your work in the Investigation 1 support this finding? Why or why not?
